This is pretty unfinished (and knowing myself probably won’t end up nicer for awhile), but you can learn a little bit about me here.
I’m Iris Johnson, a 21 year-old undergraduate student. I’m non-binary (they/them,she/her), which I don’t tend to talk about elsewhere. I’m persuing a degree in electrical engineering and it takes up a lot of my time. My hobbies are watching anime, playing video games, and streaming. I’ve been known to dive right into learning about computing topics that happen to spark my interest, and those tend to revolve around communications protocols, firmware development, emulation and design of hardware via HDLs.
My interests have a tendency to ebb and flow, and I have a habit of opening up far too many articles about a topic and then “wasting” my whole day diving into more and more articles, and opening up more and more links to source code of related projects. My new year’s resolution for 2020 is to be a little more focused about that…
I also have been really into streaming and I stream on Twitch.tv as modwizgal. But with school and my other interests, I haven’t been consistent about it. Still I should be live at least a bit, and if I can manage it, I’ll try to regularly stream at least one day a week.
